Orthodontics to take centre stage at APOC 2026

SINGAPORE: The 15^thAsian Pacific Orthodontic Congress (APOC 2026) will take place from 6 to 8 November at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, bringing together orthodontists, researchers, educators and industry partners from across the Asia-Pacific region for three days of scientific exchange, innovation and professional networking. Organised by the Asian Pacific Orthodontic Society and the Association of Orthodontists (Singapore), APOC 2026 aims to strengthen collaboration across the orthodontic community and showcase the latest clinical advances, digital technologies and treatment approaches shaping orthodontic care.

The Asian Pacific Orthodontic Congress hosted 22 companies from six countries at the 2025 trade exhibition.

This year, the congress will be held under the theme “Creating Smiles, Connecting Peoples: Integrity, Inspiration and Innovation”. The scientific programme will feature internationally recognised speakers, including Asian Pacific Orthodontic Society honorary fellow Dr Prashant Zaveri and keynote speakers Drs Eric Liou, Nikhillesh Vaiid and Sumit Yadav. Topics will include orthodontic treatment of periodontally compromised dentition, approaches to maxillary correction and the application of artificial intelligence in orthodontic practice. One full day of the programme will be dedicated to the latest advances in aligner treatment and the rapidly expanding range of cases now manageable with aligners. Complementing the scientific programme, an international exhibition will showcase orthodontic products, technologies and treatment solutions from companies such as Invisalign, Angel Aligner and Graphy.

Delegates will also have the opportunity to deepen their expertise in correcting facial asymmetry and managing complex malocclusion through pre- and post-congress workshops led by Dr Liou and Dr Kamy Malekian. The workshops will provide practical learning in an interactive setting.

Beyond education and technology, APOC 2026 will provide a platform for building relationships across the Asia-Pacific orthodontic community. Networking events such as the welcome reception, AOSC Run—APOC Edition, and Residents’ Symposium will offer delegates opportunities to exchange ideas, foster new collaborations and strengthen professional connections with peers from across the region.
